Senior Session at Sunset | Myrtle Beach State Park | Ethan

There’s just something about a beach sunset that never gets old — especially for senior sessions. Ethan’s session at Myrtle Beach State Park was one of those evenings where everything came together perfectly.

Ethan was visiting from Texas, and his family wanted to document this season of life while they were here at the beach. I always love when seniors choose to do their photos on vacation — it makes the session feel a little more relaxed and a lot more memorable.

We met up just before sunset, and the light was that soft, golden glow that makes everything look effortless. Ethan kept things simple and natural, which is exactly what I always aim for in senior sessions. Nothing forced, nothing overdone — just letting him be himself with the ocean in the background.

The variety at Myrtle Beach State Park is one of the reasons I love shooting here. We were able to move from the dunes to the shoreline and catch those last few minutes of sun dropping behind the horizon. That golden hour light into sunset is always worth it.

Senior year is such a big milestone, and sessions like this are all about capturing who they are right now — before everything changes. Whether you're local or just visiting, a sunset senior session in Myrtle Beach is always a good idea.

If you're planning a trip and want to document your senior year, Myrtle Beach State Park is one of the best spots for it.
