Sunrise Senior Portraits at Cherry Grove Beach

There’s nothing quite like sunrise at Cherry Grove Beach to make senior pictures unforgettable! When Paul and his family planned his session, they wanted something personal, meaningful, and timeless. They brought along their gorgeous family vintage car, and it turned out to be the perfect centerpiece for his Myrtle Beach senior pictures.

We met before dawn to catch the first light over the ocean. Sunrise sessions are always my favorite—the beach is quiet, the colors are incredible, and the light is soft and natural. Paul was such a natural in front of the camera, and the car added so much character and history to the photos.

What made this session truly special is that the car isn’t just a prop—it’s a family heirloom, passed down and lovingly maintained over the years. It’s a symbol of family memories and tradition, and it was amazing to capture Paul with something so meaningful to them. We took wide shots of the car on the sand, detailed close-ups of its beautiful vintage styling, and classic portraits of Paul leaning against it with the sunrise behind him.

If you’re thinking about your own Myrtle Beach senior pictures, consider bringing something that tells your story. Whether it’s your favorite car or your pet, those personal touches make your session one-of-a-kind.

A huge thank you to Paul and his family for choosing me to photograph this important milestone. Wishing Paul all the best as he heads into his next adventure!

Sunrise Magic at Huntington Beach State Park

There’s something incredibly special about sunrise sessions at Huntington Beach State Park. The soft morning light, the quiet rhythm of the waves, and the golden glow that wraps around everything—it’s the kind of beauty that makes you pause.

This sweet family joined me just after sunrise, and it was one of those mornings that felt like pure magic. Sometimes, when weather forces us to reschedule, we end up with something even better than we imagined. This was one of those times—the most stunning, calm sunrise after a rainout earlier in the week.

One of my favorite parts of this job is watching families grow over the years. It’s a joy to capture not just the smiles, but the connections, the in-between moments, and the way they all look at each other with so much love.

Sessions like this remind me why I do what I do. The beach, the light, the laughter—it all comes together to tell your family’s story in the most beautiful way.

If you’re dreaming of a Myrtle Beach sunrise session, let’s chat. Sometimes, the early morning hours gift us the most unforgettable moments.

Sunrise Smiles: A Joyful Family Beach Session at Myrtle Beach

There’s something magical about Myrtle Beach at sunrise—the golden light, the peaceful waves, and the promise of a new day. I had the absolute pleasure of capturing a beautiful family during their vacation at Myrtle Beach State Park, and it couldn’t have been more perfect.

This sweet family of four—Mom, Dad, and their two adorable little girls—met me just as the first rays of sunlight kissed the shoreline. The girls were full of energy and giggles, ready to run, play, and snuggle up with Mom and Dad. Their laughter echoed down the beach, a true soundtrack to a morning filled with love and connection.

From sandy toes to spontaneous tickle fights, every moment was a reminder of how special family time is—especially on vacation. The soft pinks and oranges of the sunrise made a dreamy backdrop for candid shots, tender embraces, and those unforgettable in-between moments that speak volumes.

Myrtle Beach State Park is always one of my favorite spots for family sessions—it offers wide open beaches, natural dunes, and a peaceful escape from the hustle of the main strip. It’s the perfect setting to slow down and savor the joy of just being together.

If you’re planning a Myrtle Beach vacation and want to freeze those fleeting moments of childhood wonder and family love, let’s create something beautiful together. Sunrise sessions might mean an early wake-up call, but as this family would agree, it’s 100% worth it.
