There’s something about a sunrise session at Myrtle Beach State Park that just hits differently.
We started early, before the beach filled up, when everything is quiet and the light is soft and golden. It’s easily one of my favorite times to shoot, especially for senior sessions. No harsh sun, no distractions—just a calm, laid-back environment where everything feels easy.
This session had a little bit of everything. Walking along the shoreline, getting in the water, and finishing near the pier with that perfect glow coming through. Nothing felt forced, and that always shows in the photos.
Senior sessions don’t need to be overly styled or complicated to be good. Sometimes it’s just about showing up, being in the moment, and letting things happen naturally.
If you’re planning senior photos in Myrtle Beach, sunrise sessions at Myrtle Beach State Park are always worth it.
If you’re thinking about senior photos while you’re in town, sunrise is always my first recommendation.
