There’s something about senior sessions that I love. It’s such an exciting year, with so much ahead, but it’s also a chance to capture who they are right now before everything starts changing.
Mea’s senior session started early with the prettiest sunrise at Huntington Beach State Park. We moved around the park, using the boardwalk, dunes, sea oats, and of course the beach. The soft morning light was perfect, and Mea made my job incredibly easy.
One of my favorite parts of her session was having her sister join us for a few pictures. Senior pictures are all about celebrating the senior, but I always love when we can include someone who is an important part of their life too.
With graduation coming and so many changes ahead, these two will grow up, make their own plans, and probably end up in completely different seasons of life. But they’ll always be sisters. I’m so glad we captured a little piece of their relationship exactly as it is right now.
And we definitely had fun with it. From walking along the beach to piggyback rides and laughing in the water, the pictures of the two of them feel like them—which is always what I want.
Sunrise Senior Pictures in Myrtle Beach
Huntington Beach State Park is one of my favorite locations for senior pictures near Myrtle Beach because there is so much variety without having to travel to multiple locations. We can get completely different looks with the greenery, boardwalks, dunes, beach, and ocean all during one session.
Sunrise is especially beautiful here. The light is soft, the beach is usually quieter, and on mornings like this one, the sky gives us the prettiest pastel colors.
Mea, I hope you have the BEST senior year and enjoy every bit of what’s ahead. I loved getting to capture this one for you. 🤍
