One of the boys asked me this during our fall mini session, and I couldn't help but laugh. YES! That's exactly what you're supposed to be doing!
I've been photographing this sweet family since their youngest was born, so it's always fun getting them back in front of my camera. The boys have grown so much over the years, but one thing hasn't changed. They always bring plenty of personality to their sessions!
Fall Family Photos in Myrtle Beach
Sometimes the prettiest backdrops are the simplest ones! These yellow wildflowers were showing off, and I knew they'd be perfect for fall family photos.
The boys definitely kept us entertained! Between piggyback rides, lots of laughing, and a little bit of silliness, we had plenty of fun while still getting those family portraits Mom and Dad wanted.
That's exactly how I like my sessions. We'll get the pictures of everyone looking at the camera, but we're also going to have some fun along the way!
Why I Love Fall Mini Sessions
Fall mini sessions are a great way to update your family photos without committing to a full session. They're shorter, relaxed, and perfect for families with kids who would much rather play than stand still and smile for the camera.
And trust me, your kids don't have to be perfectly behaved for us to get great pictures! A little silliness usually makes the session even better.
I want families to leave their sessions feeling like they actually had a good time, not like they just survived family picture day.
Watching Families Grow Year After Year
One of my favorite parts of being a Myrtle Beach family photographer is getting to see the same families come back year after year.
I've photographed so many kids from the time they were babies, and now some of them are practically as tall as their parents! It's pretty amazing getting to document all those different stages.
I'm so thankful for the families who continue to trust me with their memories. Getting to catch up, see how much everyone has grown, and share a few laughs along the way is a big part of why I love what I do.
And to answer that very important question from this session — yes, you're absolutely supposed to be laughing that much!
